Kudos to Santa Fe Tow Service for figuring out how to load the tree, which weighs many tons. I’m impressed. They are using some of the branch logs to roll it onto the bed.

I recently wrote about KC Custom Hardwoods for @StartlandNews. They salvage city trees that would otherwise go to a landfill and make them into furniture. Today, they are picking up our ~100 yo oak tree.
