Hey @paramountplus if you wanna come to my house and explain to my toddler why we can watch the original Blue’s Clues, Blue’s Big City Adventure, but NOT the Blue’s Clues and You series, that would be great, because she is NOT. HAPPY.
It’s been almost 4 years since my dad died and to this day I randomly get the thought “I wonder what he’s up to, I gotta give him a call” and then I remember all over again. Grief is weird man
Finished The Fall of the House of Usher so here is my unsolicited rating of the Mike Flanagan shows/movies I’ve seen (haven’t seen them all so if there’s any missing that’s why) from least favorite to most favorite:
1. The Haunting of Hill House - 10/10. One of the best spooky shows I’ve ever seen. Nell as the bent neck lady was a twist I did NOT see coming at all. I wish I could experience this again for the first time. Loved so much I’ve watched it numerous times.
This 38 week pregnant lady watched Guardians 3 last night and baby Rocket saying “hurts” as his first word ever yesterday absolutely ruined me. I’m talking FULL BODY WAILING. Such a good movie, but so so sad
I have been having mild, intermittent contractions for literally days now and the fact that this can continue for a month before I go into active labor is just too much for me to handle
What are some pieces of film/TV/music/theatre you wish you could experience again for the first time? I’ll go first:
-season 4 of Stranger Things
-the “Sunday” scene in tick, tick.. BOOM!
-The Laurens Interlude- Hamilton
You can tell my husband was born and raised in Louisiana because he brought up the book “Where the Crawdads Sing” and called it “Where the Crawfish Sing” 🦞
