Had the opportunity to present a poster on how @TERRAFORM_H2020 weathering experiments will contribute to sustainability research. Thanks @ESAI_Environ@ATUDonegal_ for planning such a wonderful event. It was great to meet with sustainability researchers from different fields
Staff and PhDs of TCD Zoology and Botany will run the the Dublin Half Marathon in aid of the Irish Refugee Council.

Beautiful day for fieldwork with @KatieODea9. Combining field-scale water balance with plant physiological measurements to determine transpiration and ET and their meteorological controls.
EVAPOTREAT (@1aaroncoyle ) meets ScalingET @iCRAGcentre
Brilliant morning spent in the field with @Browntist setting up mini transects for estimating canopy transpiration. Delighted to see a variety of wildlife on the site!
What a wonderful experience sharing some of our findings from project Dive2Stor
1. microtopography is an indicator of SOM even at very small scales in both degraded and near-intact fen
2. The degraded fen has a higher autocorrelation range for SOM, Moisture content and microelev.
#Herbaria are generally not open to the public because of limited capacity and the need to preserve the collections (although we do make them accessible for research as much as possible), so I'm really happy to have had this opportunity to share our beautiful world more widely!
New 3-year teaching fellow position in plant science @tcddublin@TCD_NatSci connected to my ERC Advanced grant @TERRAFORM_H2020 with opportunities to engage with @TCBotanicGarden strategic plan & teach BSc. & MSc modules in Botany ⬇️

After 2.5 years of field sampling, > 10 different variables, multiple winters of the Irish west coast (if you know you know), we present a C budget for #intertidal#kelp + potential drivers!
