So the FBI’s Russia case was already coughing up blood, Peter Strzok was privately admitting there was “no big there there,” William Barnett saw zero evidence of collusion, the Steele dossier was disintegrating into paid-for Clinton campaign gossip, and the bureau’s response was apparently:

Absolutely fucking brilliant. Nothing says “objective law enforcement” like watching your own evidence collapse into a pile of shit and deciding the real problem is that you haven’t escalated hard enough.

The newly declassified Oxferd Comma memos show these assholes opened a full investigation into whether Trump was “directed by” or “controlled by” Russia after he fired James Comey.

James Baker and Bill Priestap signed off on this garbage. Andrew McCabe and Rod Rosenstein were looped in. Then came Mueller, two years of manufactured hysteria, wall-to-wall media stenography from the usual liars, and endless sanctimonious lectures from the same people who now pretend they were merely asking innocent questions.

This was not some good-faith mistake made with strong evidence. Their own people were already waving red flags and screaming that the case was dead. The dossier was weak as hell. The sourcing was pure political dirt. The collusion theory was going nowhere fast.

That is the real scandal. Not simply that they were wrong ... but that they kept escalating after they had every reason to know they were full of shit.
