I got laid off last week after almost 4 years as an in-house content writer (ouch!).

It has taken me a week to process it (and I still am).

I updated my WordPress SEO plugin and was really happy to see the awesome new features.

1. Author SEO (EEAT Updates)

AIOSEO has added a dedicated screen for Author SEO that allows you to build better Author Bio and Author Profiles to highlight Expertise, Authority, and Trust.

You can add schema for details like which university did the author attended, what skills they have, etc.

The SEO preview in WordPress now shows all schema items, ratings, etc.

3. Schedule Redirects

Bloomberg removed a link for our client, and we wrote them a song. This is our first music video ever.

The client link is now back on Bloomberg, after we’ve sent them the video.

This is a good way to get journalists to add the links to the unlinked brand mentions from digital PR campaigns.
