This is concerning for two reasons.

a) it relies on a definition of ‘terrorism’ that is at risk of being politically convenient.

b) it appears inconsistent with the reaction to the Harehill riots, numerous anti semitic protests, and other recent events.

We need urgent clarity and a degree of justification from the Met which includes more than the screening of a controversial film.
