@RhondaONeillRN@JamesThrot That point doesn't disprove what I said. Over time populations change, roads are built. I can guarantee it's always been aggressive. Your eyes are just open to it now, thankfully. Be safe out there. β¨
@MitzunariVT Use it as content, increase or decrease prices on redeems, adjust how many channel points someone can obtain per hour/min... So on so forth
@EggieWeggieVT@Ressniee Wait- isn't that what they said about Gunrun as well? Playing Fortnite during meetings in general suddenly seems like a red flag. π
My red flag is that if you don't talk to me, I won't talk to you either. But not because I don't want to talk to you, but because I think if you don't want to talk to me, I should give you space so I don't bother you
@ImJustTheJustin Long rant aside, I agree that Ai can be a tool but it needs legal regulation. It's just a bandaid on a festering economy and if they don't fix the root issue, they are destroying one of the biggest industries in the US. Empathy is not a common trait, unfortunately.
@ImJustTheJustin That there is a person claiming to be an artist who is taking the same amount of money from you as a regular artist but all they did was type in a sentence. With no way to know if the result they gave was actual work they put in or a scam? The text limit on here is horrible-
@PurpellVT I was still hopeful. I'm so disappointed they sold out and disrespected creators this way... (and for others reading, YES, I consider coders creators too. They deserve respect just like artists and musicians.)
@ImJustTheJustin but it's important to understand that a horrible solution is being made to a problem that boils down to a wage divide. Instead of correcting a root issue, they have instead chosen to compound a wound in the economy.
@ImJustTheJustin Remember when "Movie Star" was a thing? Remember how hundreds of people lost their jobs as work moved to other places like mexico for cheap labor? Remember the arguments over illegal workers were used in farms for cheap labor?
It's similar. It may not impact you personally-
@ImJustTheJustin Your responses were one of the only ones that gave me the impression you were intelligent enough to understand how AI could be good but lacked the sight to see how devastating it is to many industries OR the environment. There is a chance for genuine understanding and empathy.
@ImJustTheJustin "if your work was that good-" It's because someone saw that it was good, took it and uploaded it into a database for the AI to use ILLEGALLY. The problem is copyright. If laws caught up to create these databases LEGALLY, there wouldn't be an issue with GenAI.
