@marinadeller Thank you for writing this @marinadeller I felt it very personally and at such a time of year when it can be hardest to be one of the 25. Important research and work, well done 🎉
First draft of my Part A pre chapter for my thesis has been written! 2000 words done, 12 days ahead of deadline 🥂
Might even be able to edit some of this crap before I hand it in 🤣
Desperately trying to get ahead before Christmas, let’s see if I can keep this pace up 🤣

Romance people! I need your help! What is the best piece of advice / learning tool / thing you wish you knew for romance writing when you were in undergrad (or starting out)? I’m teaching my final romance craft class next week and want to do a section on great tips! #romance

@bronwynstuart I say wiggle room but seeing it written like that I suddenly feel like it looks as if it belongs to The Wiggles and is probably where they park the big red car or something 🤣
My brother drove a van to Melbourne this weekend and has brought back boxes of childhood memories that were stored there for us to clean out. It’s a blessing and a curse to have so many things from my childhood. I am particularly concerned at child me and her choices of memories.
My sweet grandmother doesn’t understand what a PhD is or what I am doing for it but she knows it somehow involves Christmas and so she sent me this from Melbourne:
Today I bought a giant box of Quality Street chocolates because sometimes you just need a bloody good box of chocolates in order to face the student essays you have to mark atm. Unrelated - but how much alcohol to marking makes a good ratio in order to, you know, survive?
