@GODFREY_Kutesa Ssebo mukulu @GODFREY_Kutesa please keep healthy and safe. Our children have to find you alive when they attain maturity so they can enrol....this is good stuff
The news of the passing of His Majesty, Omukama Oyo Nyimba Rukidi IV, has been received with shock and extreme sadness.
I received the news from Omuhikirwa of Tooro, Calvin Armstrong Rwomiire last evening, and I immediately informed His Majesty Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II, who was saddened by the demise of the young monarch (34 years).
The Kabaka urges the people of Tooro to stand together during this period of grief. The Kingdom of Buganda stands with the people of Tooro, and all Ugandans, during this sad moment.
May the Lord receive King Oyo's soul. CPM
@TusiimeSheila Beyond the kingdom, I cant even imagine how the mother must be feeling right now. It's alot to take it when it comes to children
May God protect and preserve King Oyo and strengthen the family through this trying time
@Zahranamuli To begin with, how does such sensitive information leak to the public domain? It's unfortunate that some family members/friends don't understand the value holding in such information when it comes to high profile figures
@CanaryMugume Without a single charge on her head?....were investigations concluded? Was she found innocent? Will she receive her luxurious rides back? Has justuce been truly served? How about those who were arrested but acted on her orders? Are they pardoned well?
@AKasingye@MoWT_Uganda@PoliceUg@M_Kananura We can't keep resisting all the good being done in the name of "govt has not done enough." That may be true bt the need to protect citizens lies with the govt & you hav no business keeping a taxi held together by ropes, on the road...we lose so many people every day in accidents
I have just been learned of the health status of our colleague Dr Sylvia Wanzala (University of Minnesota) who is currently having a terminal illness and her only request is to be taken back home to Uganda 🇺🇬 to spend time surrounded by family.
Please help pray for her and also DONATE towards bringing her back home🙏
Finally, Govt’ has acknowledged that all medical interns require facilitation, and is now going to reinstate the 1m allowance per month to each medical intern.
However, going forward, there ought to be a discussion on increasing the 1m, given the rising cost of living and inflation over the years.

@TusiimeSheila Not at all. Never abandon the hand that feeds you!
Kampala is the largest tax collection area in uganda, do you actually believe things will be the same when attention to it is placed in a whole new area? With the way things happen in uganda? We can do better than this
Thank you court .
This was a diversion, thank God it's over.
Our demands remain the same; Deploy all, Pay all 4M & Pay Monthly.
Clock is ticking on you @CHRISBARYOMUNS1, the Interns will remain home & @TheUMAofficial is counting down to lay down our tools.
