@emothann I agree with that. I feel running 4 Festival 1 Forest is a bit much too, as that Forest could be something to aid consistency. We've got time to experiment, and I'm looking forward to what you do with the deck! :D

@Cody_Meyer1993 I was planning on running 1 with 2 Kierans as "backup", then having 2 Ultra Balls to help with the discard if needed. The deck has for sure, and is SUPER fun right now even before Gladion comes along 😁

Looking more and more at Festival Lead, because it's cute AF. Yeah, it doesn't have my fave Pokemon, Joltik, but I can live with that due to the cuteness factor!

BUT, which Grookey is best for it?

Time to practice a few new decks.
Prior to rotation, I was all Joltik Box, since rotation I've struggled to settle, but now I'm looking at using 1 of the following as my main deck of choice and riding it out to rotation again!
1) Festival Lead
2) Ethan's Typhlosion
3) Grimmsnarl

I've now been playing Pokemon TCG for 1 year, and I've ended my first ever season at 119 points, no challenge/cup wins, but I came 2nd and 3rd in some challenges/cups. I think that's pretty damn good considering!

Next season, I'm aiming for much more!

Really not keen on this current meta in the Pokemon TCG, it seems it's all "Dragapult or bust". But, I'm revisiting my original deck, Marnie's Grimmsnarl. It's not great, but it's more enjoyable than playing Pult!
