@asandamagaqa Being twins, the assumption was that they had one dad. Eventually after years, upon the dad's insistence, they tested brothel children and discovered only one was his...
@asandamagaqa@asandamagaqa I forgot, the woman in fact gave birth to triplets, but one of them died. Court papers indicated that the dad was suspicious because people kept saying the children don't look like him & DNA tests were done - but only one child, which happened to be his.
@asandamagaqa Wow! You have a good memory. It was soon after I went back to Sunday Times in 2008.
It was a maintenance matter in Khayelitsha Magistrate's Court but the dad was from EC.
It's called superfecundation.
@theblackcatza@Clicks_SA I didn't even request a password change. Spoke to a @Clicks_SA consultant and she reset my password so I tried logging in with that but I'm still getting back to "change password".
@Clicks_SA is there a problem with logging in to your app and website? It keeps directing me to "change password" as soon as I try to log on and then sends me an OTP - which only comes 3hrs later.
How interesting it was to see that some of those 2016 issues are still being identified today as areas we need to tackle if we are to ensure the sustainability of our industry. And how pertinent that it was launched on the eve of #BlackWednesday
A little more than eight years ago, I sat in this very room at the #RhodesUniversity journalism school with @Cheri_DD and other colleagues from newsrooms in SA, Uganda and Kenya, identifying threats to media freedom. This was part of the WAN-IFRA Media Freedom (MFC) programme.
Today Cheri and I returned to this room, this time with a different set of colleagues including @rochelledekock and @Zima_B_Nkosi, to launch the #MakhandaDeclaration, a new collaboration by Rhodes and #Sanef which aims to resurrect the spirit of the Windhoek Declaration of 1991.
@rochelledekock@cruisequeeeen Lol I'm not that bad but I must admit, I prefer getting to the airport earlier than most. Too many dreams about missing flights...
This worked for me, but it seems others are not as lucky.
They're either sent from pillar to post with no proper feedback or they're told they must go to the original branch, sometimes in a different city.
Surely this is a function on the system that should be fixable?

@Leon_Schreib in case you're not aware: there's a growing number of people wanting to apply for new passports, only to be told they haven't picked up their old passports according to the system - only they have picked it up and have it in their possession.

This happened to me too earlier this year and I was told I had to go to the original @HomeAffairsSA branch where I applied for my previous passport and officials had to close the application from 10 years ago on the system before they could start a new application.

@pumpkinangel09@HeraldNMB I had crab curry on Friday night. Like everything else from Krish, it is a huge portion and I can't finish it in one go. I shared with my 6yr old nephew who wouldn't let me take leftovers home for the next day because he wanted it π A friend said the prawn curry was also ππ»
@Oliver_Speaking I know it feels like five or six months since the George construction site collapse as you said now now, but it will be two months tomorrow...
@HomeAffairsSA Please check & update contact info on your website. Some of the phone numbers I've tried over the last two weeks disconnect without even ringing. Emails have bounced back saying "no result found". I've also tried to track my application using 32551. No luck.
