We Lost Him 💔😭

My heart is shattered beyond words

Our little brother, 13-year-old David Raymond, has gone home to be with the Lord after fighting for his life for 18 painful days

David was not a soldier
He was not a criminal
He was only a child whose only "offense" was being born into a Christian family in Plateau State

On that dark night in Kawel village, Bokkos LGA, terrorists stormed his home while the family slept

His father, Raymond Maichibi, stood between death and his son, hoping to save him with his own body, but he was shot and killed

His mother, Nanlop Raymond, hid inside the bedroom, praying for mercy, but the bullets found her too

David tried to escape, but an AK-47 bullet ripped through his back and stomach, leaving his intestines exposed

As doctors struggled day and night to save this innocent child, his parents were already lying in a mass grave alongside 20 other Christians murdered simply because of their faith

The family could not bring themselves to tell David that he was now an orphan

They hoped he would recover first

But today, that painful secret no longer matters

David has gone to join his father and mother in eternity

Before he died, his trembling voice still echoed from his hospital bed

"They came in the night... My father tried to protect me and they shot him... My mother was hiding when they shot her too... I ran and they shot me in the back..."

How many more children must die before the world listens

How many more Christian families must be erased before our tears are seen

The silence of the world has become another weapon against us

"Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven." — Matthew 5:10

David's blood cries out from the ground

His story must not die with him

I plead with the Church around the world, do not stop praying for the persecuted Church in Nigeria

Remember us before the throne of God

Stand with us while there is still someone left to save

May the Lord comfort every grieving heart and may little David Raymond rest in the everlasting arms of Jesus until we meet again

Your suffering is over

As believers, we must be careful what we open our spirits to.
Not everything trending online is from God.
Not every spiritual experience is holy.
Not every form of meditation leads to peace.
There is no power greater than the power in JESUS CHRIST.
There is no true healing outside God.
There is no light greater than the light of Christ.
You do not need crystals when you have the Rock of Ages.
You do not need zodiac signs when God already knows your future.
You do not need tarot cards when the Holy Spirit guides you into truth.
You do not need to pray to the “universe” when you can pray to the Creator of Heaven and Earth.
Jesus is enough.
The Holy Spirit is enough.
The Word of God is enough.
Stop searching for spiritual substitutes when the presence of God is available.
Choose Jesus.
Choose truth.
Choose holiness.
Choose the Holy Spirit.
If you stand with Jesus alone, drop an AMEN. 🙏

If the story is true, many believers will immediately celebrate it as a victory because a man refused money in order to publicly maintain allegiance to CHRIST. On the surface, that appears noble but a man shouting “JESUS” publicly is not automatically proof that CHRIST has been formed within him.

Many believers today are so starved for visible loyalty to JESUS in public spaces that they sometimes celebrate symbols while ignoring the main substance.

A man can reject money and still remain unbroken. A man can publicly defend JESUS and still privately live contrary to HIM. A man can become a Christian icon online while remaining spiritually immature, unsubmitted, fleshly, or even deeply compromised.

My concern is not whether he said “no” to money. The concern is how believers are now creating a culture where any public mention of JESUS automatically means JESUS is winning.

That is how celebrity Christianity is born.

If this becomes another viral Christian celebration, then the church may actually lose in the long term because: It is not the standard.

There is also another danger: we may unintentionally teach young believers that Christianity is mainly about public defense of JESUS rather than a Private Life with HIM.

Even devils publicly acknowledged CHRIST: The real question is not: “Did he refuse money?”

The real question is: “Is CHRIST truly being formed in him?”

Because the greatest victory is not that a man shouted JESUS online.

The greatest victory is when JESUS gains a Man.

We must be careful not to become so desperate for representation that it starts celebrating fragments as fullness.

Refusing money may be admirable. But it is not worth celebrating as christians we know what it means for JESUS To win.
