Happy new year Twitter! How are you all doing? 2024 was a great year of living in real life and less on social. I took a group of students to Costa Rica in January and Mexico in November. I took my boys to Mexico in December for their first international trip. 🙏🏽🙌🏽

@heymrsbond So, I saw the video. I saw what looked like students in a classroom taking down their male teacher’s hair. First of all, NO. And for people who say this is our culture and that there’s nothing wrong, they’ve never heard about the things that could go wrong. Inappropriate.

@heymrsbond As an educator, and a black mama, my boys know better. I don’t know about what this video is, but people are something else. Schools need to have order and we only have so much time to teach kids. Kids need to be getting their education not taking down their hair.

It was so funny. One of the ladies last night was like OK so we meet tomorrow. I looked at her and I said tomorrow is Friday. Absolutely not. I will be outside and I hope you will be too. We all just laughed about it. But I’m a firm believer in not hosting Friday night trainings

I’ve had the best time teaching in this challenge this week. The students have really been able to pick up Spanish and I’m so excited that most are entrepreneurs, business owners or career professionals and they’ve really enjoyed it as well. I’m so glad I did it!

I hope they have legal representation to sue immediately. This kind of behavior here is absolutely wrong and atrocious. We are supposed to have freedom of speech.
