The uncomfortable truth is that many who rush to condemn the language are noticeably less eager to confront the substance. That silence raises an important question……have economic crimes, illicit financial flows, tender manipulation and corruption become so normalised that they no longer provoke the outrage they deserve?

A society that is more disturbed by how wrongdoing is described than by the wrongdoing itself has fundamentally misplaced its priorities and are what is now wrong with Botswana.
