The nurses are too busy with no real deal support. Patients will be better taken care of if we put more time into them. Exactly why I love Hospice. I’m not rushing my care. What I do is important & what’s important isn’t rushed ... Random thought 💭

On top of charting on all Medicare patients, COCs & falls ... Lord pray to God you don’t get a admission or have to provide wound care. They give you 8 hours for all of that then say no OT! That’s exactly why majority of them folks don’t receive the care they need.

Sometimes I miss working at a SNF (Skilled Nursing Facility) I just never got off on time 😫 idk why they even have 8 hour shifts in a skilled facility those nurses need 12s ... You literally have 8 hours to pass meds (2/3 passes (depending on the shift); morning, noon & evening.
