@Stuthefarmer I struggle as well. Lexapro does wonders. But in the same breath, yes it’s hard for me to tell when everything is shit or if it’s just my brain messing with me.
What #farmmanagement#apps are #farmers out there using? Not sure yet what features are a must have but we farm wheat, corn, soybeans, and hay. Bonus if it can track my few acres of produce as well.
@AppleApril111@p00rpete@AnnCoulter Also if we were only allowed to hire Americans we wouldn’t have any employees no matter how great the pay and benefits. We tried when we raised tobacco, great pay and benefits compared to other businesses in our area but yet no American wants that hard job.
@AnnCoulter Hi Ann! As a land-grant university, it's actually part of our mission to do research about agriculture and share it with people.

@carlyziter Undergrad gen ed: reflections due Friday at 11:59PM so I know they worked some during the week but quizzes are due Sundays at 11:59PM in case they want to study over the weekend. That’s how I’ve always approached taking undergrad and grad classes, weekend study.
@RightsRobins Lmao, when I had an office job all I had was a tiny desk and computer in an office where colds and flu went around every other month and coworkers were constantly stopping my work progress. Then I wfh and had two more free hours per day, was MUCH more productive, didn’t get sick
@SwordOfStrife @JacquieLudwig@OpenAcademics It’s so important to have a supportive advisor. When they interview you, interview them just as much. I left a PhD because I didn’t know beforehand the expectations of my advisor and I wasn’t going to put up with the amount of work for the little pay.
I know there’s alot to worry about in the world today, but please @netflix Space Force is the one thing that makes me laugh. Let’s get a well funded season 3! #spaceforce#season3!
BACK ON THE FARM BEAT - Spent the afternoon with the Griffith Family to talk about the challenges they are facing with rising input costs in producing wheat and other crops. This comes amid a global grain shortage caused by Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Story coming soon!
@VanceCrowe If they grain farm now, grains. We wouldn’t have more fruit and veg like people believe because there’s not enough labor. In MD I hear uninformed people think we would grow quinoa and crap, but our climate won’t allow. Topography, climate, labor is limiting.
@VanceCrowe College but this time 2 years community college taking half online and working with ComForCare as many hours as possible. Tons of $$$$ savings. Transfer to large Uni to finish ag degree, make sure to have fun for two years. MS agronomy while working full time.
