Hello everyone. I'm Dr Okediya Wuraola. A dentist at Rave dental clinic, Mushin Lagos..
I'm quite new to twitter, infact I opened this account to gather attention towards the plight of a lady by name BISI OLATOYE.

I met Bisi about 4 months ago while on evangelism. She was one not to miss as her right leg was massively swollen, indicative of one with massivs elephantiasis. She was also pregnant too.On interacting with hershe related her story to me.

She has been suffering from elephantiasis for the past 10years. Abandoned by her mother at a tender age, she became homeless a few years later, after she lost her dad, her only support. She is the only child of her father.

Bisi has been living on the streets with her massive elephantiasis for many years now begging for alms.
In March of 2020, she was raped and on the 12th of December in the same year, she gave birth to a baby boy.

Adopting her from the streets, myself, family and a few friends have been able to secure her an accommodation at a guest house where we make daily payments.
We also see to the daily welfare of her and her new born baby. Providing them with food, baby wears and what have you.

We took Bisi to the hospital ( summerstone specialist hospital trauma Centre, ile iwe center busstop, ikotun). The doctor said the left leg will be amputated and she will require prosthesis leg afterwards.
A total of 2.5m is needed to give Bisi back her life.
