she was always last
slow to realise, focus
brim-full buses of people
would pass by
they knew what they were doing
or did they?
she wanted to get on one
but had forgotten how to
she was ready for life

She was a #maelstrom
of chaos, cuddles, tantrums
and messy ginger hair
unless it'd just been brushed
always on the go 'til sleep
overtook her
I wouldn't have had her any
other way.
I believe something
'other wordly' happens
when necessary
Jay, my grandson was very ill
Immediately Great Gran
had a massive stroke
He was so much better
after 24 hours
She passed away with her
family around her
the day after he got home.
Did she take his place?

After posting a video of his young daughter dancing, Neil was shocked when he received hundreds of messages making negative and abusive comments about Ella’s Down Syndrome.
Refusing to stay quiet, he challenged the trolls and in turn received thousands of supportive messages

spring has arrived
with colours of pastel
all around
purple skies
new life
baby blue jays
learning to fly
cottontails play early am
just as we do

Nan's gone to be with Grandpa
Found loads of letters between
them
All with ribbon round them
Interesting reading
Throughout their whole relationship
The letters didn't stop
Wonderful legacy of their love
for each other
The hollow girl rang the doorbell, waited with a sack filled with spiders and failure, the unknown, men that would hurt her, children that would abandon her, and so on. She'd be glad to give back all the fears her mother had shoved inside her -to replace them with hope.

Ensure your family know you love them
No one knows how long we're on our lives journey
An angel in green saved you Jay
Off to hospital
More angels cared for you
They made you well
Got your temp down
You'll bounce back
Love you, Nanny
