More javaScript math. Played around to get comfortable with changing types of data and how to read user inputs into arrays. If I see one more NaN my eyes might start to cross! LOL
Day 66 #100DaysOfCode
Today I spent time just playing around with CSS and adding some text to the tutorial I created. I think I am pretty much ready to call that one done and move on to the next project!
Day 64 of #100DaysOfCode
Spent today tweaking some JavaScript and pushing a big update on the Tutorial I built with Captivate. Every step has me feeling more confident!
Day 63 of #100DaysOfCode
Turning my Python math program into a JavaScript math program has been interesting. It is really giving me a better understanding of how each language works "under the hood"
Day 62 of #100DaysOfCode
I had been digging into how to make my Python program a publicly available web app, and hit a snag that will take a bit to resolve. So instead I decided I would practice by recoding a similar program in JavaScript!
Day 61 of #100DaysOfCode
@CodeNewbies I have incorporated them into my projects! I wanted to start learning and working with Python and the same week I decided to make that my next step my son complained about time spent doing Mean Median Mode in classes. Im now building a polite MMM calculator with Python!
Spent a LOT of time on Python today and essentially completed the core of the Friendly Calc program! Next is learning how to integrate Python code into an app usable outside of a terminal.
Day 59 of #100DaysOfCode
Got a lot of coding in with HTML and Python, plus a little JavaScript research on the side! Then updated some Adobe Projects and drank too much coffee.
Day 58 of #100DaysOfCode
Start-to-finish on 3 new Adobe animations to get familiar with the program, then uploaded them on my webpage. I'm so proud of my little stick Cheerleaders! π https://t.co/Su3Hh9D1Hu
Day 57 of #100DaysOfCode
Today was a day to catch up on chores, so while cleaning I watched and nearly finished a LinkedIn course on Azure for developers. If my future employer is Azure based I think I have a good baseline of info to get started.
Day 56 of #100DaysOfCode
Worked on some new additions to my website today, keeping things fresh. Formatted the Adobe Captivate presentation and got some first round feedback. Next up is Adobe Animate and a JS ed app.
Day 56 of #100DaysOfCode
When you think you can add a quick embedded object in the website, only for it to break 3 other things and show up approximately 17 pixels wide. Oops!
Day 55 of #100DaysOfCode
Lots of school work has me learning the Adobe Creative Cloud and Captivate. Interesting and frustrating at the same time. Everything feels clunky. Spent time in a training about Node.js but didn't get to write any today. Hoping for a productive tomorrow
Day 54 of #100DaysOfCode
I finished a micro-credential today on APIs and can't wait to start working them in to my own gradebook project! That plus the Node.js stuff I have learned the last couple days and I am excited to go build some stuff!
Day 53 of #100DaysOfCode
Took a break for a short vacation and birthday rest. Today I am back and starting with Next.js to see if it can help me fix my js birthday calculator.
Day 52 of #100DaysOfCode
Python is clicking slower than the other languages, but I'm getting there and enjoying the journey. More HTML for my website as well, adding some LinkedIn Learning certs for things like Scrum and Change Management.
