The newly constructed Lameco Overhead Bridge (Lameco Roundabout Flyover) in Osogbo, Osun State, was commissioned on 1 July 2026 by Governor Ademola Adeleke as one of his administration’s flagship projects.

It was awarded to Messrs. Kimzee Global Investment Limited, with Hanconk Ogundiya and Partners as consultants.

Length: 672 metres (including retaining walls)

Cost of construction: ₦8.5 – 8.52 billion.

Barely 23 days after it was commissioned, a section of the bridge developed serious cracks, a deep depression, and structural distress.

This is failure of leadership by Governor Ademola Adeleke.

Osun deserves leadership that prioritises quality, competence, and accountability over politics.
