Imagine being a kid who loves inventing things, building stuff with friends, and experimenting with ๐ ๐ฎ๐๐ต ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ฒ๐ป๐ฐ๐ฒ, without knowing exactly where those interests would eventually lead you.
You grow up wanting to become a ๐๐๐ข not just to run a company, but to bring the technology of tomorrow into the world today.
Then you discover ๐ต๐ฉ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ฆ ๐ฆ๐ฎ๐ฆ๐ณ๐จ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐ช๐ฏ๐ฅ๐ถ๐ด๐ต๐ณ๐ช๐ฆ๐ด with the potential to shape the future:
โAI,
โBlockchain,
โand virtual reality.
You could have chosen any of them, but blockchain caught your attention for something deeper than the technology itself. It was the idea of financial freedom.
That curiosity eventually led to the creation of @cryptoquant_com.
And this is the part of @ki_young_ju 's story I find interesting.
The same curiosity that made him want to build things as a child eventually found a direction in an industry that was still developing. He didn't just want to observe technological change; he wanted to contribute to it.
Today, people follow his charts to understand what is happening in the crypto market. But behind those charts is a person who became interested in building long before the market knew his name.
There's a lesson in that.
Sometimes, the things you enjoy doing before you even understand their value are quietly developing the skills and mindset you'll need later in life.
You don't always see the destination when you start building. You just keep exploring, learning, experimenting, and following the questions that interest you.
Years later, those little experiments might become something that changes how people understand an entire industry.
The future doesn't always begin with a grand idea. Sometimes, it begins with a curious kid who refuses to stop building.
Crypto that only sits in a wallet is unfinished money.
Thatโs what PayFi is trying to fix โ and the Velo ร Zebec Card is one of the clearest versions of it so far.
Inside Orbit Plus (Veloโs app) you can:
โข Swap assets across chains
โข Top up a virtual Mastercard
โข Track balances
โข Cash out USDT/USDC to a local bank in supported corridors
The card is issued by Zebec. Fund it with USDC, BNB or VELO, add it to Apple Pay or Google Pay, and spend anywhere Mastercard is accepted. Merchants get normal fiat. You never have to explain crypto at the till.
The off-ramp is separate: convert stablecoins into local currency and receive it in your bank (starting with Indonesia, real tests also in Thailand), usually within one business day, through licensed rails.
Velo handles the app, swaps and regional payouts. Zebec handles the card. Together they close the last mile between on-chain value and real-world money.
Crypto in. Everyday spending out.

I went back and looked at the before โ after a few times.
The interesting part isn't just that the new leaderboard looks cleaner.
It's that the whole experience suddenly feels more competitive.
The old version tells you where you rank.
The new version makes you actually care about where you rank.
And that distinction is bigger than it sounds.
When the interface makes the distance between you and the next person visible,
the leaderboard stops feeling like a static list.
It starts feeling like something you can actually play against.
That's probably my favourite part of this redesign.
@v21studio didn't need to completely reinvent the idea of a leaderboard.
They just gave the idea enough personality to make the competition feel real.
It's the kind of UI change that makes you wonder why more products don't treat their competitive features this seriously.
