@logiboi32@PhilosopherJoeC@iamAtheistGirl I would say it's self evident. Racism is wrong regardless, or independent of, what people think or believe.
Also, all attempts to "relativize" morality lead to unacceptable outcomes ("racism is virtuous because I say so, or society says so etc")
@logiboi32@PhilosopherJoeC@iamAtheistGirl Premise 1: If God does not exist, objective moral values and duties do not exist.
Premise 2: Objective moral values and duties do exist.
Conclusion: Therefore, God exists.
@missinformstion Donna - you've never thought about the underpinnings of human rights have you?
You're not familiar at all with the theological and philosophical discourse over grounding natural/human rights - that's true isn't it?
@missinformstion you're intentionally dense over and over again because you're ill equipped to defend your view(s). keep appealing to authority and ad hominems. enjoy la la land. Rights cannot ultimately be grounded in governing bodies, but that conversation is much too esoteric for you
@JustinCPorter@ShanJeniah@MikeWingerii@iamAtheistGirl Oh right - yes, if the unborn child - who came into existence because of it's parents' volition- forgets to have it's mother sign off on the consent form - to use it's mother's temporary placenta - of which has 1 purpose - to nurture the child - then yes, murder is in order
