What a great pleasure hosting part of the leadership of KCCA Football Club (@KCCAFC ) at my office, led by the Club CEO, Mrs. Anisha Shahir Muhoozi (@anishamuhoozi ) together with Mr. Moses Kaddu Ssekiti, Mr. Joshua Nagenda & Mr. Patrick Ochieng Fred as they delivered my long-awaited Seasonal Diamond Ticket.

I welcomed the team together with my colleagues on the Parliamentary Committee on Budget, Hon. @alenyo_marshall and Hon. Kungu Samuel Bamuteeze whom I encouraged to follow suit in supporting one of Uganda’s most decorated, disciplined, innovative and talented clubs, with a well-organized structure.

On the sidelines of receiving my ticket, we discussed a wide range of issues concerning the club, including the completion of the stadium, replacement of the stadium’s artificial playing surface and strategies to mobilize more fans to attend more of the club’s games more so home games.

As I told the team, one of the major ways we as fans can contribute to the growth and development of our domestic clubs is by creating a deliberate way of supporting them through purchasing seasonal tickets and other merchandises such as jerseys and most importantly, physically turning up in large numbers to watch home games and boost gate collections.

Supporting our clubs is supporting the growth of Ugandan football.

Hon. @KankundaAmos1 was joined by his colleagues on Parliament’s Budget Committee, Hon. @alenyo_marshall, and Hon. Kungu Samuel Bamuteeze. They are also ardent supporters of Ugandan football.

Their passion for the local game is a reminder that the growth of football goes beyond the pitch. It takes the support, belief, and commitment of everyone who loves the game.

The Chairperson of the Parliamentary Budget Committee, Hon. @KankundaAmos1, has secured his #KCCAFC Diamond Season Ticket for the 2026/27 season.

KCCA FC mourns the passing of Moses Matovu.

Before he became a celebrated musical icon, Moses Matovu was a footballer who graced the game with passion. From the football pitch to the music stage, he left a lasting mark on generations of Ugandans.

Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to his family, friends, Afrigo Band, and the entire music and sports fraternity.
