Lord, You know what we need.
You know what we need to hear.
You know it all. Speak Lord, we're listening.
With no agenda or suggestions or requests, we simply stand ready to receive more of You.
God's Word is a lifeline. A way to get some oxygen into those deep places in our hearts that may be starving to breathe fully and live. Because God doesn't want us to keep gasping and grasping for life. He wants us to really live.
I never want my location to change how I worship Jesus.
On the mountain top.
In the valley.
In the greatest highs.
In the lowest lows.
I’m praising Him with everything I got.
A prayer of complete surrender we can pray:
I trust You, Lord. I trust Your plan. I trust Your goodness. I trust what You can see and I can’t.
I trust You with my life, my hopes, my dreams, and my disappointments.
I trust You with it all, Lord.
Lord, help us change our typical reactions to hard situations. Let all that begs us to be impatient birth patience in us. Let those things that beg us to be angry birth gentleness in us. Let everything that begs us to be afraid birth courage in us. We don't want to stay the same.
God is mighty.
God is caring.
God is worthy of praise.
God is loving.
God is able.
God is in control.
Nothing takes God by surprise.
Some sweet truths to hold on to tonight.
Jesus, we don't want Easter to become a ritual. We want it to be a revelation. Reveal what needs to be resurrected within our hearts this year. Places where there’s been a wounding but not yet a full healing. Places where we're not living fully alive in You.
The cross. What was such a source of pain & shame is now a symbol of great hope & grace.
Jesus, help us see that through You & Your resurrection power, areas of pain & shame in our lives can be healed. Transformed. Resurrected. Made new. Changed into pictures of hope & grace.
God says rest, be still, lift up ur face; I’ll show u what I’m already doing.
What if we saw rest as a weapon? What if we started with rest instead of ended our week starving for it?
What if we saw rest as our weapon & out of the overflow from our rest we outpour love!
You, friend, are beautiful, captivating, capable & smart. Believe it. Live it.
“For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.”Ps.139:13-14
Heart check:
What comes out of our mouth is a direct reflection of what’s stored up in our heart. If we want to assess how we’re doing, all we have to do is listen to what we’re saying.
James 3:1-12
Forgiving someone doesn’t mean we’ll get our storybook ending. But it will bring peace and honor to a situation that would otherwise leave us bitter, defensive, and hurting.
Forgiveness releases the offense into the hands of God so we can heal.
