M.O.C.H.A (Men of Color, Honor, and Ambition) male mentoring group is back. Today we met some wonderful young men at East High School. M.O.C.H.A is coming to your @kcpublicschools high school soon. We are actively recruiting sophomores who exemplify leadership. WE ARE BACK.

@kcpublicschools College Access partnered with the Beta Lambda Educational Institute (BLEI) as part of our college readiness program workshops. Today we are sharing information about what are scholarships and how to navigate FAFSA. Our workshop is on how to tackle college essays.
Several of our students received the @kcscholars scholarship to @MissouriState. 19 students get $950,000 in scholarship money.
This is in addition to the 11 students from Class of 2024 who were also awarded KC Scholars scholarships, bringing our yearly total to $1.5 million!
