WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA UPDATE – Saturday, December 13th
Saturday is going to be bitterly cold with snow in the forecast, but we ARE still holding our Wreaths Across America ceremony and wreath-laying as planned. Our veterans braved far worse so that we could stand together and remember them – we can brave a bit of Iowa winter for them!
Please dress in warm layers, hats, gloves, waterproof boots, and anything else that will keep you comfortable. If the cold or conditions make it unsafe or too difficult for you to join us, we completely understand – your health comes first. That said, the more volunteers who are able to come, the lighter and faster the work will be for everyone, and the sooner we can all get back to warmth.
We will be monitoring conditions closely. If for any reason we must postpone, we will post the update HERE on our Facebook page as soon as the decision is made (we’ll send an email too).
Either way, we hope to see as many of you as possible to honor our heroes together. Thank you for your incredible support!
