Brilliant once again and cannot express my gratitude enough for him constantly speaking about this🌟
Including an interview with @LeeHansonON 👏🏻
📺 @SkyNewsAust
@RCRGREYS@TheCalebBond Going to be fascinating viewing.
How this Rockcliff/Greens government thinks they can play Russian Roulette with people’s livelihoods in this case is atrocious to say the least. If you couldn’t trust them before this well how the hell can you trust them moving forward?
@AronieDawn2@animaljusticeAU@JaneHowlettMP What cost will disappear? Nothing will be saved as the money which currently goes to greyhound racing will be used by the other 2 codes which was mentioned through the hearing.
Further, it’s going to cost 10s of millions in compensation, rehoming costs etc which they don’t have.
@watts_mf Beg the differ, when they push their misguided agenda onto others without fully understanding the repercussions on the humans involved in the industry, as well the greyhounds.
Daily live & online attacks propped up by some antis who have no experience of the industry.
@shannon_wells@RCRGREYS The “majority” support being fed misguided truths & facts without any mention of how closing down a fully regulated, lawful industry affects all participants (humans & animals). Just as it has a major flow on effect to other industries that rely on racing for their businesses.
@DeanWinterMP@RockliffTeam@TasLiberal She was outstanding, just as several others have been justifying the position that this ban was rushed through with no consultation by a Rockcliff government who sold his soul to The Greens for political gain.
No livelihood should be shut down just so a premier keeps their job.
@anthony_dodd1@7tasnews Mr Hiscutt made several outstanding points but one which stood out to me was he said along the lines of “if the Liberal govt formed a majority at the last election we wouldn’t even be having this debate”.
Livelihoods shouldn’t be shut down due to political gain.
@anthony_dodd1@7tasnews Has been far from adequate … the stink around this started when Rockcliff gave an assurance to the industry days prior to the election to gain further support from participants & then turned his back on it without blinking an eyelid when he wasn’t able to form a majority govt.
