Happy New Year everyone! In 2023, I am hoping to grow my mental performance business. If you know any athletes looking to improve upon the mental aspect of sport, feel free to send them my way. I have a plethora of experience and knowledge across a variety of sports.
To become mentally tougher, you need to increase your tolerance for physical and mental discomfort. The main way to do this is by putting yourself in uncomfortable situations and pushing through them.
Excited to officially launch my Mental Performance Consulting company “Move Your Mind Mental Performance.” I help athletes across all sports on improving upon the mental aspect of performance. If you know any athletes that could benefit send them my way!

Parents – Do not build your happiness around your kid’s athletic performance. If you get in a bad mood because they played bad, take a break from the game. Your kid needs to have tough performances to learn, not have great performances to make you feel good.
Trust. The. Process.
Be patient, but not lazy.
Be committed, but don't rush it. No hacks, tricks, shortcuts to being your best.
Take the time it takes, so it takes less time.
the outpouring love & support I’ve received has made me realize I’m more than my accomplishments and gymnastics which I never truly believed before. 🤍
It’s going to be so interesting to see how this might impact the athletes mental performance without any spectators. For some, it may help in freeing distractions but for others it may have a negative impact.

My pillars of recovery:
1. Sleep Well
2. Move Well
3. Eat/Hydrate Well
4. Think Well (self-talk, productive thoughts, mindfulness)
5. Laugh (A lot)
Which areas of recovery are you dominating? Which need improvement?
THREAD FOR DICK HOYT
Dick Hoyt died today. He was so nice to me when I started writing about heroes. So here is his story: When Dick and Judy Hoyt’s son was born with cerebral palsy, unable to walk or talk, the doctors told them to just “put him away.”
No, they decided.
