A whole lot of otherwise smart people seem to assume this unimaginably destructive, and completely unrestrained, power would only ever be used on some other country. That's not a safe bet. And it shows a total lack of understanding of a certain mental illness.
With news breaking that Trump advisors say he's "unstable" and "out of his mind," now seems like a good time to remind everyone we really did hand this desperate psychopath the absolute power to use nuclear weapons and kill millions of people.
Here's how it would go down:
I hear a mournful train whistle carry slowly through a foggy night full of autumn trees and remember a time when it was not remarkable to say that on twitter.
I am so weary of this malevolent chaos. Please vote him out. Please help heal this country. Please.
Never thought I'd say this, but this hurricane is a nice distraction from *flails wildly* everything. A little nudge from Mother Nature: "Hey, remember me? I'm still capable of fucking shit up." As the power goes off and on and off and... the gusts are getting stronger.
Do not get lost in a sea of despair. Be hopeful, be optimistic. Our struggle is not the struggle of a day, a week, a month, or a year, it is the struggle of a lifetime. Never, ever be afraid to make some noise and get in good trouble, necessary trouble. #goodtrouble

@Charlotte_Stein Same. And so often it's not that people want to go back to THEIR jobs, they want "service people" to get back to catering to their needs. The lack of empathy -- and frankly, intelligence -- is appalling.
