Whatever happened in Nyahururu today during the Linda Mwananchi tour is deeply regrettable and must never be allowed to happen again. Anyone responsible for orchestrating or participating in this act including the lord of violence should be held accountable. This is not the Kenya we want. We choose peace and respect for every Kenyan. We want peace.
Calls are growing for the Kano State Government to prioritize education over mass weddings, citing over ₦4.35 billion spent on the programme in a decade.
Critics argue Kano's more than two million out-of-school children and poor literacy levels demand greater investment in human capital to build a productive population and sustainable future.

It is an absolute insult to the intelligence of the people of Nyakach for self seeking sympathizers to cheer on this so called "broad-based" government while our region is left to rot. Those defending this political sham are complicit in betrayal, willfully ignoring that the Awasi-Katito road remains a dilapidated mess, the bloody Sondu-Kericho clashes remain unresolved, the ownership of our sugarcane nuclear estates is actively compromised, and sponsored goonism remains the order of the day.
Our community is being failed by stomach-guided elders who worship money instead of putting the people first. We must stop behaving like desperate beggars pleading for crumbs from the master’s table.
I commit to a relentless campaign across this region to wake our people up so we can demand a real, dignified stake in governance come August 2027. The era of blind loyalty to political opportunists is over; Nyakach is completely, unapologetically WANTAM.

Held extensive and fruitful talks with PM Luxon in Auckland this morning. His own visit to India last year energised our bilateral partnership and my visit today, the first by an Indian Prime Minister in 4 decades, has added further momentum to the India-New Zealand friendship. We have decided to elevate our ties to a Strategic Partnership. We will move forward across every sector with clear goals and concrete outcomes.
