BREAKING: Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee has deployed soldiers from the Tennessee National Guard to join their Texas counterparts in “Operation Lone Star” to bring more security to the Texas border.

The governor said he originally asked for 100 soldiers to assist the effort but says that roughly 400 volunteered.

ANOTHER SURPRISE!🤭 Meet baby boy Korbel, the newest addition to our giraffe herd. Because he was born in the wee hours of Jan. 1, 2024, his name is a nod to the bottle of bubbly, Korbel.

This little big guy is 6ft 3 inches and weighs 165 pounds.

We passed HB 6 this year which increases penalties for drug dealers who distribute fentanyl and this new law is already impacting our communities. Two North Texas drug dealers have been charged with felonies for lacing fentanyl with other drugs resulting in death. Proud to have joint authored this important piece of legislation to protect our communities.
