Im Keagan
Anything I REALLY want to accomplish, I can and do
I currently own a growing home service business (multi 6-figures... kinda cool tbh)
In my high school job I reached management status before turning 18
Top 5 rookie salesmen my first summer in sales for my company (Started the summer as the worst)
Benched 205 -> on my way to 225 before the world shut down
Ive walked on a treadmill for 6 hours a day for weeks at a time to prove I can
I decided to learn chess to get better than my friends -> 1300 ELO within a few months
I regularly read/retain 40-60 books a year
Ive taught teams of people how to sell, including some friends in domains I knew little about, who grew their businesses with that info
I overcame the fear of public speaking -> went on to place 2nd in a radio broadcasting competition for the state of WA
Ive built buildings, kitchens, cabinets, and a handful of other things with my hands
Taken apart and put back together motors and can fix nearly anything on an older car
Im a landlord and am involved in a real estate company
Taught myself how to make systems for a business that scale
I can memorize song lyrics creepily well and recite them years later with most the accuracy
DON'T GET ME WRONG: Ive definitely failed at many things.
- Didn't achieve Japanese proficiency
- Didn't dedicate enough time to learn coding
- Made a $150,000 mistake when first scaling my company
- Hired the wrong people
- Built processes that failed
- Failed relationships
- Bodily mistakes that had me in the hospital, bed-bound, or sick
I am very capable of failure - im very familiar with failure and respect it.
With that said, anything I want to do, provided the resources and time to do it, I figure out and accomplish
Im looking forward to scaling the current projects and making my current set of achievements look like small sub-items in the future
Persist.
Not blindly.
Not desperately.
But relentlessly toward the life you actually want.
Don't quit just because it hasn't shown up yet.
Keep building.
Keep moving.
Keep becoming the person capable of holding it.
Your current reality isn't the final version.
@Kappaemme1926 I bought the M2 MacBook Air with 24 gigs of RAM and it’s treated me extremely well with similar workload
Minimum 24 for me moving forward
@kirtandopamine There have been quite a few start-ups looking to do a handful of different projects, either in space or on the moon – really excited to see where it goes :)
@glbaumann Found myself dealing with a similar problem. A lot of it may be taken up by iCloud files. or photos that are saved to the computer from your iCloud. Chances are you need to clean up the iCloud files that are stored on the machine and change your settings
@blueemi99 I still use it when initalizing a project or feature - sometimes I dont have the idea fully fleshed out in my own mind so going back and forth helps me think out the idea in more detail
Keep plan mode
@thsottiaux in Codex remote for iPhone and iPad, I wish I could have the spoken aloud option for the Codex response similar to ChatGPT
I want to be able to speak into my phone and have work done, then also tap a button that speaks its response after the work is done
@iamsahaj_xyz Similar boat. Used 5.6 Sol ultra for a while to test its limits
Then changed to sol Medium
Then test the waters with Terra medium/high/extra high and if im unsatisfied ill swap to Sol

First off, hell yeah! Crack a mill baby
I agree with the sentiment that manufacturing needs to be more of a thing in America than it currently is
More as an intellectual curiosity I’d be curious to see how things progress and what you learn, along with what it’s like to own a manufacturing business. What does your day look like? What do you manufacture? What’s the economics of a manufacturing business look like?
I’m extremely removed from this space and have no idea what it’s like
