@AlexTaylorNews Get to safety. Pull up drawbridge. Watch yesterdays neighbour, friends perish outside at the gate.
It takes a very nasty type to behave in this fashion.
Yes, he said this, word for word, I checked
Firstly it's a downright lie, as not a single one of them crossed to the mainland (they need a visa from Ceuta and if they had one, why put themselves through the risk of drowning etc, they would have travelled legally on it long ago)
Secondly and more widely, I'm sorry but it takes a particular kind of gall to constantly fan these often racist flames, when ππππ πππ πππππππ were basically economic migrants, looking for a better life, fleeing from conflict and poverty in Sri Lanka. The only difference is his parents were much luckier than the people he constantly whips up hate against (for reasons best known to himself) in that the UK ππππ came to in the 80s and he grew up in was a much more welcoming place for "migrants," economic or otherwise
@cabinetofficeuk I am astonished that in this century, decade you write minutes in a book. No laptop. No dictation software. Positively Victorian and a great metaphor for backward Britain.
@DavidGauke I understand that logic. But itβs a bit like having a few thousand empty seats at Wembley. Just in case. Run it to capacity with a switch in the system to early release a thousand if required.
Doorstepped Anne Widdecombe late one night during her run-ins with Michael Howard. Expected an earful. Was instead told: "You must be cold, standing out there." Was invited in & given 2 large Scotches. May she RIP.
@spectator Binface is the perfect antidote to a failing political system. A system that gives us Farage, Truss, Johnson. Corbyn.
Rising national debt with lowering public standards and repeated parts of governance not fit for purpose. When your system is trash vote Binface.
