Happy International Women’s Day!
At Kechie’s Project Inc, we celebrate women’s strength every day. We appreciate mothers for their tireless efforts in shaping their children’s futures, even in difficult times.
We recognize and appreciate women who single-handedly care for their families. Your perseverance in raising future leaders is truly inspiring. Today, we honor mothers, grandmothers, and great-grandmothers for their selflessness.
We also extend our gratitude to sisters and aunts who take on family responsibilities without seeking recognition. Your dedication fortifies your families and communities.
On behalf of our Board Chair, Barbara Modeste, we wish you a happy International Women’s Day. May your strength and resilience continue to inspire and empower those around you.
Last Friday, April 11th, Kechie's Project Inc. joined Keynote Speaker, Actress, Comedian, and Radio Personality Nicky Sunshine and other WAE Partners, such as Cynthia Devone, VP of Physician’s Development, for the academy’s 20th Annual Career Fair. Our organization presented a workshop on non-profit work, highlighting the unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of others and the community. The event’s impact was significant.
On this International Women’s Day, we confront the past and acknowledge the significant progress we’ve made. For too long, women have been told they could not realize their potential, simply because they were women. They were denied education and silenced, leaving this world without the chance to leave their mark.
Today, we stand in solidarity with those grandmothers, mothers, aunts and sisters who faced tremendous barriers due to outdated cultural norms. We celebrate their resilience and the remarkable achievements of women everywhere. Happy International Women’s Day to all.
