The Karem Award goes to Sarah Vivian and Jeremy Camron. The pair worked with @KECSACStudents to pass HB 194 to allow more students to obtain high school equivalency diplomas. Vivian is principal of @OneTeamFCS' alternative school & Camron is principal of Daviess Co. alt school.
Congrats to @kycamron1 and @SarahVivian1978 on receiving the David Karem award from the @KyDeptofEd for their work on legislative policy! Their advocacy expanded GED options for students in alternative schools across KY! We are proud partners with these exceptional leaders!

The Eagle Academy @Pulaski_Schools hosted the KECSAC Interagency Advisory Group for our spring meeting. Members from @KentuckyDJJ@KyDCBS@CHFSKy@KyDeptofEd toured the school, learned from student leaders and reflected on the deeper learning taking place across KY!
KECSAC partnered with @KentuckyDJJ Title I to provide real life/real time PD for KECSAC Educators. We visited @5280HighSchool and experienced firsthand the amazing culture and peer supports offered at this exceptional school for students in recovery! @JCPS_SACschools
