🇳🇵Horrifying! In Nepal, people desperately try to escape a mudslide closing in on them

Following torrential rains and flooding in Nepal’s border region near Tibet, at least 384 people have been reported missing, including 291 foreign nationals. Among them are 105 Indian citizens, Reuters reports.

At least nine people have been killed.

The mudslide occurred on the Nepali side and hit the Gyirong border crossing. Xi Jinping ordered an all-out search for the missing and stronger monitoring amid the threat of further disasters.

भर्ती परीक्षाओं में कथित पेपर लीक, भ्रष्टाचार और अनियमितत��ओं के खिलाफ जेपीएससी-जेएसएससी अभ्यर्थी जयपाल सिंह मुंडा स्टेडियम में एक सप्ताह से अधिक समय से अनिश्चितकालीन धरने पर बैठे हैं। प्रदर्शनकारी पारदर्शी भर्ती प्रक्रिया, निष्पक्ष जांच और दोषियों के खिलाफ कार्रवाई की मांग कर रहे हैं।

कई अभ्यर्थियों का कहना है कि सीमित संसाधनों के कारण वे बिस्कुट और सादे भोजन के सहारे आंदोलन जारी रखे हुए हैं। इसी बीच JSSC PGT से जुड़ा एक मामला भी चर्चा में है, जिसमें दावा किया जा रहा है कि एक महिला अभ्यर्थी को 300 में 299 अंक मिलने के बावजूद चयन नहीं मिला।

सोशल मीडिया पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं, जब दूसरे आंदोलनों में Zomato, Swiggy और Blinkit के जरिए भोजन व सामान भेजा गया, तो झारखंड के आंदोलनकारी छात्रों तक ऐसी मदद क्यों नहीं पहुंच रही? CJP अब कहाँ है?

Three questions that every student protestor is asking Government today over NEET:

1. If the NEET system is genuinely secure, why has the Government not publicly released a complete, independent, time-bound account of every alleged leak, irregularity, beneficiary and official failure and why should students trust the same system again?

2. Why is the Government using police force against students demanding answers, while the people responsible for any paper leak or examination failure have not faced equally visible and swift accountability?

3. If the Education Ministry accepts political responsibility for the integrity of India’s biggest medical entrance exam, why should the Education Minister remain in office while students are protesting for weeks and the credibility of NEET continues to be questioned?

एक परमज्ञानी ब्रीड है। ट्विटर से बाहर कभी दिखता नहीं कोई काम करते हुए। इन सबका जीवन भाजपा की घनघोर चाटुकारिता और मोदी को पैगंबर बता कर, उनसे कोई गलत हो ही नहीं सकता है, कहने में बीतता है।

जो लिखता है, उसी पोस���ट में स्वयं का ही खंडन कर देता है। लेटेस्ट बताया जा रहा है कि जो यूजीसी पर लिख-बोल रहा है, वो तो ��ातिवादी है, और मुसलमान असली वीर है क्योंकि वो किसी को भी चाकू मार देता है।

यही बेचारे, यति नरसिंहानंद जैसे लोगों को, जिसने एक्चुअल में एक्स-मुस्लिम्स को सबसे अधिक आगे बढ़ाया, धन से सहायता की, अपने लड़कों के साथ लड़ते रहे, और खूँटा गाड़ कर डासना में खड़े हैं, उनसे स्वयं को श्रेष्ठ मानते हैं। जबकि इनकी अचीवमेंट केवल मोदी नाम की 786 माला जपने की है।

यति जी के कुछ कथन अतिरेकी होते हैं, पर तुम्हारे ‘���हानेस्ट नेता जी’ जब तमिल को सबसे प्राचीन बोलते हैं, और देश को तीन सौ बार ‘बुद्ध’ का बताते फिरते हैं, तब तो तुम्हें नाभि के नीचे गुदगुदी होने लगती होगी?

यति जी के या हमारे जैसों की तो बोली तुम जैसों के हिसाब से विभाजनकारी है, पर मोदी जी तो नीतियाँ ऐसी बना रहे हैं कि देश में एक पूरा जाति स���ूह अपराधी घोषित हो चुका है!

मतलब, सबसे बड़े सोशल साइंटिस्ट तुम ही जनमे हो कि यूजीसी सरकार लाती है, और जो कह रहे हैं कि ब्राह्मणों के प्रति घृणा बंद हो, वो जातिवादी हो गए! यानी, हिन्दू केवल भाजपा के लिए तुम्हारी तरह ‘ऑयलिंग द जॉक्स’ करता रहे क्योंकि कॉन्ग्रेस आ गई तो?

ओ हो हो… मुसलमान इकट्ठा है, कितना बढ़िया चाकू मार देता है क्योंकि संगठित है! नहीं, वो चाकू इसलिए भी मारता है क्योंकि तुम्हारे मो��ी जी आज तक ‘सर तन से जुदा’ को हेटस्पीच नहीं बता पाए। वही मोदी जिन्हें गौरक्षक गुंडे लगते हैं।

तुम्हारी सरकारें, चाहे राज्य में भाजपा की हो या केन्द्र में, इस्लामी नारेबाज़ी पर कौन सा कानून ले कर आई? और यदि हमें ही लड़ना है सरकार परस्पर हस्तमैथुन करने के लिए चुनी गई है? और जो लड़ रहा है, तुम उस पर भी आक्षेप कर लेते हो! गजब दोगले हो!

यूजीसी ला कर, जो शृंखलाबद्ध अपराध उजागर हुए हैं, वह तो हम गिनाएँगे ही। दलित-पीड़ित-शोषित-वंचित की पुड़िया तुम चाटो, हम नहीं चाट पा रहे। न ही हम हिन्दू समाज का लोड इस आशय से लेंगे कि ‘कमजोर मत पड़ने देना इस महामानव को!’

हम इसी तंत्र में रहकर समाज को जोड़ने का ही काम करने बोल रहे हैं, तुम्हारी तरह अपनी जाति की पगड़ी किसी नेता के चरणों में सौंप कर अपनी जाति से धोखा नहीं कर रहे।

यूजीसी का आं���ोलन सड़क पर भी लड़ेंगे, सोशल मीडिया पर भी, और चुनाव में भी। यदि सरकार को सुप्रीम कोर्ट पर माफी माँगने की नौटंकी में दस मिनट नहीं लगे, तो यूजीसी पर आज 50 दिन कैसे लग गए?

आठ मार्च को सड़क पर भी रहेंगे, तब तक (और उसके बाद भी) सोशल मीडिया और मीडिया में भी लगे रहेंगे। तुम सब चाटो क्योंकि तुम सबकी वही औकात है। हम तो निश्चित हार में भी लड़ते हुए खपेंगे, तुम अपने बच्चों को क्या मुँह दिखाओगे कि बेटा हम तो मूँछ वाली जाति से थे, पर मोदी की दाढ़ी पर पिघल गए!

I have no views on this scholar Francesca Orsini. Had never heard of her. But those of us from a rooted background, who speak Hindi at home, read Hindi books as well, can only roll our eyes at this rather bizarre claim that 'few have shaped our understanding' of Hindi literary culture like a British SOAS Prof! 🙄
