I didn't even see Taraji P. Henson in that moment.

I saw a woman with discernment, fear, and past trauma who felt uncomfortable as hell. She was outside her body and in full fight or flight mode. The person behind the camera was just as wrong as the ones in front of it. Her fear and defense was palpable. She was surround by adult strangers and treated like meat under a circle of vultures. I wanted to save her through the damn screen.

And no one cares because all they wanted was a photo, a video, or to be seen with her. Experiences like that change your DNA. Make you not even wanna go outside. She didn't deserve that shit.
