Murrell’s conviction is about one man’s crimes. The bigger question is what it reveals about the SNP’s culture of secrecy, accountability and leadership. My column 👉 https://t.co/xUCcMemVLW
Nicola Sturgeon told the public that she and Peter Murrell rarely went on holiday and rarely socialised.
Now we learn they were staying at one of Scotland's most exclusive hotels while Murrell was actively stealing from the SNP.
The issue is not the hotel.
The issue is credibility.
Years later, basic questions still cannot get basic answers.
Who paid for what?
How much was spent?
And how did the SNP leader, married to the party's chief executive, repeatedly assure members that the party's finances were sound while concerns were already being raised internally?
People are still being asked to believe that nobody at the top saw anything, knew anything or questioned anything.
With every new revelation, that becomes harder to believe.

🏨Five-star hotel.
🍾Champagne.
🍷Fine wines.
💸£750 a night
All whilst the SNP members 'ring fenced' independence fund was disappearing down a black hole.
Now the mask has slipped & the public can finally see what was really going on behind the SNP's carefully crafted image.
The problem with asking questions about the Crown Office is that - as Wings has been establishing for quite a number of years now - the Crown Office is answerable to no-one, with the possible exception of the King himself. It is in all meaningful senses above and beyond the law.
An excellent summary;
"The scandal is no longer just what Peter Murrell did.
The scandal is what Scotland’s institutions appear willing to do to make sure the public never gets the full story"
Yes, period huts are back. Because girls just aren’t embarrassed and awkward enough about menstruation.
But what happens when the trans-identified boy feels excluded from the period hut? What if he feels less of a girl? Perhaps it would be easier just to tell girls to stay home.
@RepublicanSons@AScot94175440 SNP & Greens killed Grangemouth with their £1bn net zero demands.
What we have “had enough” of, is your continuing Nationalist whingeing & bigotry. 👋
@AScot94175440 …. and with that post you confirm you are a halfwit.
I know it’s difficult for you, but try to distinguish between patriotism and nationalism 👋
After a five year process, Murrell’s trial was scheduled for two weeks after a Holyrood election. The cosy relationship between Dorothy Bain and SNP needs an independent inquiry.
Alexander & McLeish would score 1/10 on the fraud scale, & were hounded by the SNP to resign.
Murrell & Sturgeon are off the scale, with Swinney & his conflation, faux anger & lying is up there also.

I now believe the removal of certain items from the calculations is one of the most revealing parts of the whole affair.
When the purchases most politically embarrassing to Nicola Sturgeon vanish from the final arithmetic, people do not need law degrees to understand the problem.
Is it wise or even possible any longer to believe a word that comes out of SNP mouths? Is there any fixed, definable meaning to the statements ministers utter, or is everything up for reframing as and when it suits them? https://t.co/giV8DDEz3Q
Mr Swinney has nailed his colours to the mast of “nothing to see here.” There seems to be far more to see here than Mr Swinney would like us to believe. https://t.co/kkKXa4rFLi
