On Fred Matiang'i ~ Miguna Miguna

"If the aircraft enters Kenya's airspace with you on board, it will not be allowed to land. The directive has been sent to us by our South Africa regional office". I heard these words myself in Berlin, Germany.

These words haunt me every time I am at Berlin's international airport (BER). Fred Matiang'i was the Minister of Interior and Co-ordination of National Government. Kenyan citizen Miguna Miguna stood helpless and stranded at Berlin international airport.

Fred Matiang'i had declared Miguna Miguna "a prohibited migrant". After the Air France managers and airport staff at Berlin refused Miguna Miguna to board the flight to Nairobi, as I was standing about 25 metres away, Miguna signalled me to join him at the Air France Counter.

Fred Matiang'i led his cabal akina Kibicho and other mortal vanity officers -who today have zero power- in denying Miguna Miguna his constitutional rights for five long years.

As soon as President William Ruto was sworn in, he gave instructions for Miguna Miguna's passport to be immediately delivered to him and for the red alerts against Miguna Miguna to be lifted. President William Ruto later personally and publicly apologised to Miguna Miguna. Miguna Miguna must be compensated by the Kenyan state.

Let me summarise. A Fred Matiang'i presidency would unleash the worst regime upon Kenya. Together with Kibicho, two learned mortal vanity PhD holders running Kenya's Ministry of Interior played God on so many occasions.

My pain and trauma of their time in office haunts me to this day. That learned people can not read Kenya's supreme constitution and implement it. Instead, they idiotically invented their own 'truths'. Exactly that is how Fred Matiang'i will run Kenya from day one to his last day in office should he be elected President of the Republic of Kenya.

Dr. Miguna Miguna and I do not agree on everything. We never have. And he has punched me on several occasions and I have punched back while I ran away helter-skelter, dorimee, for his firepower is too hot some days, but, just as on that 15th November 2021, I will always speak as a witness of the injustice I saw unfold against him.

And yes, I would speak against any injustice against Dr. Fred Matiang'i should he ever face injustice. And I would turn up at an airport to show my support to Dr. Fred Matiang'i if he ever has any trouble in an airport in Germany.

That is what it means to be a Kenyan for me. Kenyan first, politics later. That is what it means to stand guard for Kenya ~ that is the spirit I invoke in my usual chant: "We stand guard for Kenya, we are very many, we are legion." That we must be warriors for justice for every sister or brother no matter our ethnicity, religion, politics, sexual orientation, histories etc.

Guard. Many. Legion. ⚖️
