The news doesn’t cover it as much nowadays, but the pain has not stopped.

Sonya Massey called for help. The agency sworn to protect and serve her, callously shot and killed her. Her last words were to call on Jesus. She was then shot in the head.

Sonya should still be alive. This grave and systemic injustice must not continue. This is why we can’t stop fighting for justice. This is why we can’t grow silent.
