Every word. By Louise Adler in @deepcutnews - a devastating account of the charade this is turning into:
If the Royal Commission is serious about antisemitism, it should look at the Israel lobby – Louise Adler
Trivialisation of antisemitism at the Royal Commission will not make Jews, or anyone else, safer.

We're not crying, you're crying 🥹🇦🇺 Socceroos winger Awer Mabil just dropped the most special message at the World Cup.
After the squad made a viral video about where they come from, the winger - who was born in a Kenyan refugee camp - explains what makes Australia 'the best country in the world': 'Many different backgrounds. One jersey.'
This is what the Socceroos are all about.
In Refugee Week, these are beautiful words from a special footballer and person.
Despicable men survive and thrive in darkness, witches.
Which is why it’s so increasingly vital to call out and fight against their misogyny, violence, hatred and lies.
Today, we’re reposting a stunningly well-written piece by American writer Heidi Blake. Be warned: it’s very long, and may be graphic and triggering in its descriptions of violence and rape for many. But we believe it’s an important read for those who can stomach it:
“In one video, Tate described the ‘basic moves of pimping’ while lying on his bed waving a machete. ‘Bang out the machete, boom in her face, then grip her up by the neck’ he said. ‘The machete’s on the floor, her panties are all wet, and you go fuck her. That’s how it goes. Slap, slap, grab, choke. Shut up, bitch. Sex’.”
https://t.co/5tldmIBuNR
And that’s in just the first few paragraphs.
For us, perhaps the most crucial theme of the piece is how much the women ensnared in Tate’s depraved businesses were aided, abetted and even encouraged by men in high places everywhere. From police forces to legal systems to other collaborators and even those in ostensibly even more hallowed positions (such as the current Vice President of the United States JD Vance, the President’s son Don Junior, and the leader of the UK political party Reform, Nigel Farage), Tate and his brother were repeatedly protected and helped by men without scruple or concern for the exploited and badly harmed women involved. In this, the brothers’ ventures have uncanny similarities to the machinations of Epstein’s even more abhorrent (if that’s possible) activities.
In fact that’s one of the main reasons we’re posting the article today: to demonstrate (if anyone needs this reinforcing) just how much many men working inside entrenched patriarchal systems of power protect themselves and each other to the detriment of everyone else. And to demonstrate that although the depredations of the Australian media in employing and excusing the horrific verbal violence spewed by people such as Kyle Sandilands, Alan Jones and Sam Newman (to name just a few) isn’t in itself as overt or horrific as the activities of Tate and Epstein, all such behaviour exists on a continuum of hatred and harm. And as such, all of it must be strongly resisted and fought against with all our witchy might.
If you needed another reason MFW exists and is determined to counter the oppression and pain far too many women (and those in minority groups) experience when they encounter men like these, here it is.
Please read if you can.
And comment on our thread if you’d like, as we’d very much value your opinion on this crucial piece of journalism.
And finally, if you can answer the question of why we don’t have way, way more reporting of this importance and calibre by all media organisations all the time, you’re doing a fuckload better than us.

In a packed Hardware store (of well known brand), a mid aged, yobbo went off his tree, for having to wait to pay;
Call this a f'n hardware store, I call it a f'n shambles.
'Youse' are all bloody dickheads.
A voice in the crowd yelled, "Say Hi to Pauline",
crowd laughed.😂😂
Notice how Grace Tame never offends women. Just grey haired men.

Want to know what racism is? And I don’t mean mere discrimination but systemic, institutionalised racism? Then compare and contrast ABC’s handling of Charlie Pickering with Antoinette Latouf —Adelaide Festival and Randa Abel-Fattah, and Lebanese/Aussie artist Khaled Sabsabi.
Huge news!
