This is wrong on so many levels. Our LGBTQIA+ communities have been marginalized, denigrated, and made to feel like second class citizens for decades. Passing laws to ensure that they are being treated fairly, equally and with dignity is our moral responsibility, and yet our LGBTQIA+ communities are the continued target of harassment and homophobia, as evidenced by the many hateful comments on this platform.

It’s on all of us to continue to stand shoulder to shoulder with our LGBTQIA+ residents and to stand against hate of any kind. 🏳️‍🌈
