Minnesota Attorney General | Fighting to help Minnesotans afford their lives and live with dignity. Prepared and paid for by Keith Ellison for Attorney General.
I’ve spent my life fighting to make Minnesota a fairer place where everyone can live with dignity, safety, and respect.
From lowering drug costs to holding corporations accountable, I’ll always stand up for Minnesotans.
Minnesotans should never be forced to pay the price for corporate greed. That's why we took action against major egg producers for illegally colluding to inflate prices.
I'll always fight to hold corporate bad actors accountable and protect Minnesotans' wallets.
17 states, including Minnesota, and the DOJ reached a settlement with major egg producers after allegations they colluded to raise prices. "Corporations should be competing against one another not colluding with one another,” said AG Keith Ellison.

The Trump administration tried to take away critical funding that helps keep people housed.
We took them to court. We won.
I'll keep fighting to make sure people can afford to stay in their homes, not get pushed out of them. https://t.co/AWGDu3crKx
Everyone deserves the freedom to live openly, love freely, and be exactly who they are.
No court decision can change that. I'll keep standing up for the dignity, freedom, and humanity of Minnesota's LGBTQ+ community.
Karen Clark believed that real change starts with people: knocking on doors, building relationships, and never giving up on one another.
That was how she lived her life, and it was an honor to serve with her in the Legislature. Karen was a mentor to me, especially on environmental justice, and her unwavering commitment to justice shaped so many of us who had the privilege of working alongside her.
Minnesota has lost one of its greatest public servants. I'm forever grateful for Karen's friendship, her guidance, and her extraordinary legacy.
My heart is with everyone who loved her. May her memory be a blessing.
From Minnesota to NYC, from hotdish to halal carts, we're fighting so people can afford to put food on the table, keep a roof over their heads, and build a good life.
To every transgender Minnesotan: you belong here.
This decision does not change Minnesota law or our commitment to protecting LGBTQ+ people. Today's rulings remind us that defending the rule of law also means defending the rights and dignity of every person. I'll never stop fighting to do both. 7/7
Today, the Supreme Court handed down three major decisions that will shape our country for years to come.
One reaffirmed a fundamental constitutional promise. Two move our country in the wrong direction. 🧵
The Court also upheld blanket bans excluding transgender girls from school sports in West Virginia and Idaho.
This decision is disappointing, and it is hurtful to transgender young people and their families. Fairness in sports matters, but blanket bans that treat every child, every sport, and every level of competition the same don't solve real problems. 6/7
More than fifty years later, Pride still matters because people still deserve the freedom to live openly, safely, and as their authentic selves.
It was great talking with Tristan about why that work continues today. Hearing him share that he moved to Minnesota because he feels safe here is a reminder of what we must continue to protect. I'm grateful to stand alongside Minnesota's LGBTQ+ community and help ensure Minnesota remains a place of safety, belonging, and freedom for everyone.
Happy Somali Independence Day!
It was great celebrating with Minnesota's incredible Somali community today. Your culture, leadership, and contributions make our state stronger every day.
No matter what bigoted attacks get thrown your way, you deserve to be here.
Always a great day at the Hmong International Freedom Festival!
Grateful for the chance to celebrate with Minnesota's Hmong community and catch up with so many friends. Thanks for the warm welcome!
