Just found out today that @SarahHuckabee is shutting down @AR_FSP. It's an amazing facility that offers federal surplus to non-profit and Veteran owned businesses throughout the state of Arkansas. Not sure why this would happen when the state does NOT fund 1 penny. Appears the Arkansas State police want the facility for themselves. I’m not concerned about external perceptions or optics. My focus is on the substantive qualities that truly determine long-term success. This hire has significant potential, and the real question is whether he can excel where it matters most: teaching the X’s and O’s, putting in the necessary work every single day, and recruiting the type of student-athletes who can elevate this program.

Another critical factor is whether he will be given the full support and resources required to compete at the highest level. While I have tremendous respect and admiration for Bobby and everything he accomplished here, today’s recruits weren’t around for those years—they don’t have that personal connection or historical context.

The conversation should center on what current and future players think. Their perspective, their buy-in, and their belief in the program’s direction are what will ultimately shape its success. If the next generation of athletes sees a coach they can trust, learn from, and be inspired by, then we’re moving in the right direction. Too much negativity from those that have never coached and many who have never played! WPS!!
