My article on the failure of the Royal Commission Report on Terrorism to really explain Islamist extremist terrorism and extreme right nationalist terrorism, and the interaction between them. They are not separate categories. https://t.co/N2a4gsQo8J
My blog on how it's good to criticise China for limiting democracy in Hong Kong, but also why we shouldn't do it via the US-led Five Eyes network. https://t.co/zUIyM86sWh
My contribution cautioning the Greens about trying for Green Ministers in the new Parliament, now that Labour has a majority of the seats and the Greens have no leverage. However I am not against a cooperation agreement between the two parties. https://t.co/4vTVYr7Drj
Our necessary criticism of the repressive Chinese government shouldn’t lead us to side with Donald Trump in his tech war against China. See my Daily Blog post: https://t.co/W8NYVA72Td
Jeanette will be sadly missed. She led on the full Green agenda taking on environment issues (like GE and climate change) and all kinds of social injustice. In Parliament she always had my back on peace and human rights issues. Totally committed but always humble. Love to Harry
There's a lot of hypocrisy in the Huawei debate. Huawei seems to have been cleared by Britain's cybersecurity agency. Yet the NSA and the GCSB have a record of spying on Huawei and China. See my Daily Blog post. https://t.co/qVNgdTnxVm
Last year I was pleased to get an apology from SIS Director Rebecca Kitteridge for the SIS and GCSB treating me as an “internal threat” in material used to train new spies. Here's how my story goes, as published on Spinoff:

Today the NZ Herald published my opinion piece (below) showing how in military procurement policies, exercises and operations, New Zealand is moving closer to the US and needlessly provoking China. Banning Huawei from the 5G is simply part of a pattern. https://t.co/QY1UczlU0Y
My article on The Spinoff against an NZ Orion being sent to fly spy missions to help enforce Trump's, not the UN's, sanctions against N Korea. Often the Orion will be spying on Chinese ships. Not something for NZ to be involved in. https://t.co/HTzaf8d1Da
As a former Green MP I can't support handing over Green Questions to National. Having Green Ministers Out of Cabinet shouldn't prevent Greens continuing with a mix of supportive and challenging questions to Labour and NZ First Ministers. My Blog post: https://t.co/yGJTp22FtN
@norightturnnz With Ministers outside Cabinet the Greens are both an ally and a critic of the Labour/NZ First coalition. They can ask critical questions just as Hone and Te Ururoa did from 2008 when Maori Party had Ministers outside of Cabinet.
