@CelticFansTV Incredible that terms were not discussed whilst he was at the club, especially when we had an option to buy in the loan.
Same with Idah, why did the club wait until weeks after the season ended if Rodgers made it clear he wanted him.
They should have started immediately.
@johnwalker_1986 You're building your team around a utility man.
Trophies will continue to roll into Celtic Park on a conveyor I'd this is the best you can do.
@Record_Sport@chris_sutton73 No, the resistance was when we thought it was only Schmeichel being brought in. Now that we have seen the actual plan, the vast majority are fine with it.
Why weren't personal terms agreed before all this.
He has been at the club a full season, and nobody sat down with him and his agent to thrash out terms in case we did trigger the option to buy.
Every single transfer we do is dragged out far longer than necessary.
Now that I've had time to sit and think about it....
...Kasper Schmeichel!!!! Unreal man to have between the sticks. A man Brendan Rodgers trusts to the hilt. A leader on and off the pitch.
The board have got this goalkeeping signings spot on this summer.
@bhoysviews Wise up with the GK from Exeter. He was sent out on loan to gain experience.
He's a good prospect and bought to take over from Schmeichel, who himself is still a good GK.
@galvinmufc7@Bairdric1 Just because they can read the words doesn't mean they understand what they are reading.
It's very clear that's exactly what it means.
@MsVC79@Bairdric1 Clear to see who the dumb ass is here.
The plan they are on about is having a ready made long term replacement in place already instead of having to look again next summer.
Rangers had to re-sign a decrepid Alan Mcgregor because they failed to plan for his retirement.
@Bairdric1 You've made that up to suit.
They were just saying it's good that we have two decent keepers to choose from rather than having Scott Bain as backup.
Every Celtic fan is happy the board have a contingency plan in place for when Schmeichel leaves/retires.
Focus on you're own.
