@dorawhite47 There is very little “iconic” about any of these movies. Horrible cgi schlock,
Bad shot composition, bad acting, horrible music, I can’t think of a movie less iconic.
@nervewing 17 yr old me in 1991 getting sprayed with fake blood 🩸front row at skinny puppy at St Andrew’s Detroit appreciate being labeled “hipster” by whatever irony shit take this is.
@d_boeckner U2 is not necessarily more respected. They eroded that with as much intensity as they created the biggest band in the world moniker around 1991.
@BugbearBrothers The box set had foldable maps you could spread out on the floor, we used it when I was a teenager all the time. Super fun, crazy extravagant material. It was a great time for the game.
@batcountry1980 Nice 1. Secondary perspective: Radiohead are great at moody, proggy, sad bastard stuff. The shift to electronic rhythm and melody honestly wasn’t that jarring. Perhaps seismic to the casual indie rock listener, but in the scope of things… it’s not merzbow.
@theblackangels played @StAndrewsHall on Monday. They walked out and tore through Passover and another 30 minutes of tracks with 0 chit chat or banter with the crowd. Drummer came out on crutches. Disnt even mention it. Badass show.
