@UnfilteredMama Of 6 large dogs we've lost in 25 yrs, 2 went suddenly on their own; we had to decide on the other 4. Always heartbreaking & we always wait "too long" (& tell ourselves afterwards that next time we won't). We never get a magic sign that it's time, & try to listen to a trusted vet.
