I wouldn’t be like the horrible ones but similarly stand your ground if you can. You should retain the moral high ground.
My point really is that as we saw in Vancouver recently the police doing nothing and taking no action, indeed laughing at a man being assaulted. I was frustrated that he didn’t say to her on film, ‘so we can do this to you can we? If it’s okay for them to do it to me.’
