Ok, so for the past few days, younger people have been on this platform whining because they don't have any money, can't buy a house, working too hard, etc.
I truly am sorry that you guys are experiencing this. I know that some are blaming boomers and saying it's because we were selfish, we have no idea what it's like, etc. I want to give an honest opinion.
First of all, let's stop with generational blame. Everyone is just trying to live their life. And life is hard. Period.
Secondly, I agree that housing has gotten ridiculously expensive. Time to get a few roommates or rent a room from your family.
Thirdly, most of us also struggled when we were starting out. There are ways to save. Little things really add up... no professional services (like hairstylists, tattoos, eyebrows, nails), no coffee except what you make at home, no restaurants, only a small entertainment budget, etc. If you are not willing to do this, then you will never be able to manage your money when you finally get it.
And last of all, we are rooting for you to succeed. The posts on X are fun, but I personally really do want you to be successful in life! The end.
Told the Oncologist about stopping treatment. He was generally sad. But supports my decision. He will continue to see me once a month and allow blood tests. He said I'm considered terminal at this point. He gave me 2-3 months to live. Continued prayers are greatly appreciated.
I’m in an airport and the guy next to me has been watching videos with NO HEADPHONES. It’s so annoying. I finally took out my phone and started doing the same. But I made sure to slowly increase my volume over his. He looked over at me like he was super annoyed. And then turned off his phone. Maybe we just need to start matching the energy of these main character narcissists.
It’s a married woman on tik tok full blown bawling in her car wanting a divorce because she’s sick and tired of having to be considerate in her relationship. Husband didn’t do anything wrong she’s just tired of having to treat him like a person that matters.
Arrest, State & Madison, June 12
Perp kept saying "wetback" (I assume directed at Officer Marquez) and then asked to be released.
